VitaBot – Smart Assistive Robot & Health Companion for Seniors VitaBot is an innovative assistive robotics solution designed to improve the quality of life, autonomy, and safety of elderly adults at home. Developed by students Gonxalo Linares and Axel Flores from Robit tech, the project addresses key challenges faced by seniors: medication non-adherence, risk of falls from carrying heavy loads, and emergency response. Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision (trained via MTraining with 96.4% accuracy), VitaBot features: • Autonomous Follow-Me Mode: Detects and tracks the senior citizen to transport heavy household items safely. • Smart Medication Scheduler: Programmable recurring alarms to prevent missed or duplicate doses. • Automated Cleaning Mode: Motorized sweeping mechanism to keep floors tidy and hazard-free. • Instant SOS & Emergency Alert: Quick distress messaging, family contact registry, and direct video call access.
