This anthem was adopted in 1871 by the Khedivate of Egypt. It was originally titled as "Salām Affandīnā". It was renamed "Egyptian Republican Anthem" in 1953 after the Egyptian revolution of 1952. The anthem does not have lyrics at a time. A former national anthem of Egypt (1871-1922; 1936-1958).
